Michael Scanlon, joined WoodPellets.com in 2021 and has over 35 years of experience in sales and marketing roles within the wholesale and manufacturing industry, and the last 14 years with pellet fuel mills.
Michael has served on numerous boards, committees, and groups over the years at a local, regional and national level. He continues to participate in organizations to promote the renewable biomass industry. His belief in forming relationships, staying on the cutting edge of information and a talent for negotiations have made him a driving force in the wood pellet industry.
Joy Schmidt
Fuel Quality Manager
Joy was born in Rhode Island, and moved to New Hampshire when she was still very young. Having joined Woodpellets.com in 2009, Joy wears many different hats. Her primary focus is customer satisfaction and fuel quality assurance.
Joys spends her free time with her husband, and chasing after her two active children.
Paul Tlapa
Director
Serving as the official geek at WoodPellets.com, Paul manages all our ecommerce development and architecture. Having worked in ecommerce for more than 10 years, he is well suited for the demands of securely handling online purchases.
Paul lives in New Hampshire with his wife and five children. Besides reading programming books, he also enjoys snowboarding, basketball, spending time with the kids, and staying warm near his Harman pellet stove.
Rachel Cornell
Marketing Manager
Rachel came to New Hampshire from northern New York to obtain a Master's Degree at SNHU, and never left. She joined the Woodpellets.com team in early 2014 to write helpful blogs, create engaging email campaigns, and manage the company's online presence.
When she's not working on house renovations, much of Rachel's free time is spent with her husband George and rescue dog Mike.

Delivery Manager
Laurie manages all our deliveries using a dedicated team of exceptional delivery drivers to ensure that your pellets arrive intact and on-time, right where you want them.
Laurie's free time is spent enjoying her husband, son, and dog Bandit in their newly renovated home.
